The Love Elementary Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is made up of dedicated parents, teachers and friends who give generously of their time, money and talent to support a variety of academic, enrichment and community-building programs. We look forward to having new families join us! We need your help!
The information below may be helpful to new Love Elementary families as you navigate the transition to a new school.

Helpful Things to Know
Both new and returning students need to register or confirm their on-going registration. Find out more on the Alameda Unified School District site. Start here.
Back to School Coffee
There will be Back to School coffee with the PTA and the Principal – check the calendar and ParentSquare for date and time.
Drop Off Policy:
Traffic and parking in the morning can be challenging at our school.
We encourage parents to walk or bike their students to school whenever possible.
The following guidelines will help keep our students safe and respect our neighbors.
- Please use the pick-up/drop-off driveway on Lincoln Ave. ONLY for during designated pick-up and drop-off times. It is not for parking at any time. Do not leave your car even for just a minute! Please help us keep the line moving.
- The white zone on Santa Clara Ave. should not be used for parking during posted drop-off and pick-up times
- School families should not park in the church/pre-school parking lot next door on Santa Clara
- Please do not use the parking lot of the Immanuel Lutheran Church kitty corner to school
- More information about drop-off and pick-up will be provided in the student handbook on Back to School Night
School Lunch:
A free hot school lunch is offered every day or your child can bring a lunch from home.
